NJPW is back!! the first streamed road to event since the state of emergancy break and seemingly some new Covid protocols have been put in place, Referees and Ring boys were all masked. Today’s show came from Korakuen Hall and was headlined with 8 man tag action in which LIJ focussed on Hiroshi Tanahashi in a vicious assult.

Tanahashi and his team mates managed to overcome the attack after being effectively separated from his teammates but it wasn’t enough to defeat Los Ingobernables De Japon. Shingo Takagi continued to impress getting the win with the Takagi Pumping Bomber and Last of the Dragon combo.

Tomohiro Ishii took offence to the loss and wanted more of Sanada and Naito after the bell this isn’t the last we wil see of this bubbling feud between Naito and the Stone Pitbull.

Shingo Takagi made it crystal clear he has his eyes set on the vacant IWGP Heavyweight title.

Elsewhere on the card Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan impressed against Master Wato & Kota Ibushi, it was great seeing Cobb and Ibushi go at it and ZSJ brought it in tag team action against Bullet Club.

  • Yujiro Takahashi Def. Yota Tsuji
  • Suzuki-Gun (ZSJ & Douki) Def. Bullet Club ( Chase Owens & Gedo)
  • Bullet Club ( Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) Def. Tomoaki Honma & Hiroyoshi Tenzan
  • The United Empire ( Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan) Def. Master Wato & Kota Ibushi
  • 8 Man Tag Team: LIJ (Shingo Takagi, Tetsuya Naito, Sanada & Bushi) Def. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tomohiro Ishii, Hirooki Goto & Yoshi-Hashi.
