WWE 2K15, this years entry into the wrestling franchise, is shaping up to be a must-own game and the first with the focus set firmly on next gen consoles, increased graphical capabilities and audio improvements, which are guaranteed to have fans eagerly awaiting its release.

A significant increase in the use of motion capture will allow a greater range of styles and movement from each individual superstar, bringing in a whole new depth of character to game-play, and offering individual styles and mannerisms for each superstar.

A few weeks ago on Raw, WWE teased a video featuring WCW and TNA Icon Sting as a DLC pre-order character, which left fans salivating over the chance to finally play as the stinger.

2K also announced the limited edition Hulkamania runs wild collectors boxset, which is loaded with extra content and is a must-own for WWE fans. The set includes the following items:

The screenshots that have been released so far show an impressive level of facial detail and excellent character mapping with both Randy Orton and John Cena looking the best they have on a video game to date.

The news has also leaked that, despite him leaving the company, Chicagoan fan favourite and voice of the voiceless CM Punk will also appear as a playable character in the final game.

Game-play modes are expected to be more in depth than ever with a “Beat The Cena” mode which plays out in a documentary style that could potentially be very interesting. We can also expect 2K and Yukes to release much more footage and screenshots before the release date.

Crucially, with this release, fans want an extensive and in-depth career mode and increased on-line facilities and servers, to avoid the significant problems encountered on WWE 2K14.

WWE 2K15 is due for release in October 2015.
